What your desk stores

Creating an account provides your name, email address, business name and chosen website address. Your password is stored in a protected form, rather than readable text. Your desk also stores the content you add: website drafts, published versions, uploaded files, planning boards, cards, notes, team memberships and enquiries.

What other people can see

Your published mini website is public. Only add information and images you have permission to share. Website drafts and planning content are for your workspace. Members you invite can access your shared workspace according to their permissions. Petit Desk administrators can manage accounts, offers, content, domain requests and abuse reports as needed to operate the service.

Messages and enquiries

When you use the contact form, we store your name, email address and message so we can respond. When someone uses an enquiry form on your mini website, their message and contact details appear in your workspace inbox. You are responsible for using those details appropriately and responding to requests about information you hold about your own customers.

Hosting and account security

Petit Desk uses Cloudflare to serve pages, run application requests and store workspace records and uploaded files. Cloudflare processes connection and security information as part of providing those services. The application uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. We use account and request information to protect access, investigate errors and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your account information. We do not use your private planning content to make it public or to advertise another customer’s business.

Payments and outside links

If you choose a paid plan, the checkout identifies the payment provider before you pay. Card details are entered with that provider and are not collected through Petit Desk’s own forms. Domain purchases take place separately with your chosen registrar. External services linked from your website have their own privacy terms.

Keeping, exporting and removing information

Workspace information is kept to provide your account and its features. Contact and support messages are kept so we can handle questions and follow up on issues. Some records may need to be retained for security, accounting or legal reasons.

Use available export controls to keep a copy of your work. To request access, correction, account closure or deletion, email hello@petitdesk.com from your account address. We may need to verify you before making changes. Deletion from backups may take longer than removal from the active service. Contact us if you need information about how long a particular record is kept.
